The PSP102 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a USB Controlled Pulse Power Sensor that operates from 4 kHz to 6 GHz. This power sensor can convert a PC or laptop with a USB 2.0 port into an RF power meter/analyzer. Power measurements can be displayed on the computer screen or can be integrated into a test system with a set of user-defined software functions. A Status LED on the sensor provides an indication of the operational state for diagnostic purposes.

The power sensor has a dynamic range from -60 to +20 dBm and a pulse dynamic range of -45 to 20 dBm. This power sensor has a measurement speed of up to 100K meas/sec in the buffered mode and over USB 1000 meas/sec in the continuous mode. The PSP102 can be triggered using internal or external TTL control in Auto, Normal, Single, and Free run modes. This power sensor can handle a maximum average power of up to 200mW and a peak power of up to 1 W. It incorporates a unique parallel processing methodology that performs the multi-step process of RF power measurement at incredible, unmatched speeds.

The PSP102 is available in a module that measures 145 x 43 x 43 mm with Type-N input connector and USB 2.0 & type-B remote connector. It is ideal for manufacturing, design, research, and service in commercial and military applications such as telecommunications, avionics, RADAR, and medical systems. This device provides fast, accurate and reliable RF power measurements, suitable for product development, compliance testing, and site monitoring applications.
