The R&S ZNL from Rohde & Schwarz is a two-port vector network analyzer for bidirectional measurements that operates from 5 kHz to 3 GHz or 6 GHz. It provides solid network analyzer performance with a dynamic range of up to 130 dB and an output power range from -40 dBm to +3 dBm. The standard features include embedding/deembedding, fixture compensation, time domain measurements and support of automatic calibration units.
The analyzer has a resolution of 1 Hz and has a large 10.1" WXGA touchscreen that makes measuring fast and simple. The touchscreen allows users to readily set the center frequency and reference level and zoom the span or amplitude measurement range. It is available as a benchtop instrument that measures 408 mm x 235 mm with the portability of a handheld instrument and is well suited for various RF component measurement applications in industrial electronics and wireless communications. The analyzer weighs just 6 kg to 8 kg and has a carrying handle and optional battery.
The instrument can be equipped with full spectrum analyzer hardware. When combined with an R&S NRP power sensor, it turns into a power meter. In this way, the R&S ZNL becomes a true 3 in-1 allrounder that can handle continually changing measurement tasks, helping research and service labs to reduce investment costs.
