The TS51221 from Semtech is a high-efficiency regulator IC for Wireless Charging Receiver applications. It integrates a wide range of protection circuitry including supply under-voltage lockout, output voltage soft start, current limit, and thermal shutdown. The IC provides multiple fixed output voltage choices: 1.5/1.8/2.5/3.3/5 V and has a wide input voltage range from 4.5 to 24 V. The switching frequency of 1 MHz enables the use of small filter components resulting in minimal board space and reduced BOM costs.
