After Part1, this part shows why it is necessary to calibrate a VNA measurement setup. It shows 1-port and 2-port calibration, and using different test setups with SMA and UFL connectors and Balanced measurement. It also shows how Deembedding (or Port extension) can be used as a quick alternative to some calibrations.
In this video, the MegiQ VNA0460 6 GHz Vector Network Analyzer is used to show different measurements, and some of the features the VNA software offers. The MegiQ SMA-CAL-6F SMA Calibration Kit and the Balanced and UFL Calibration Kit have also been used to demonstrate different VNA calibration schemes.
