Linx Technology Introduces Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) Antennas for Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 Applications

Linx Technologies (Linx), now part of TE Connectivity, a developer and manufacturer of antennas and connectors, has introduced a series of adhesive Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) antennas - the ANT-W63-FPC Series - for Wi-Fi 6Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7 applications in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.

The ANT-W63-FPC Series of FPC antennas provide a ground plane independent dipole internal/embedded antenna solution and feature a compact, low-profile design. Expanding upon our popular portfolio of FPC antennas, the new series from Linx adds a range of options to meet the needs of many different Internet of Things (IoT)ISM, and Wi-Fi applications. This high-performance family of antennas provides an assortment of size and configuration options, with various connector and cable length options.

“With the continued expansion of Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, and the introduction of the new Wi-Fi 7 standard, our customers will be better prepared to meet the growing demand for increased signal coverage and faster connections,” said Rick Stuby, VP of Product Management. With a flexible, adhesive backing, the antennas offer user-friendly mounting options to secure in unique and custom enclosures and are designed to be fitted into an environmentally sealed enclosure for added protection.

The new ANT-W63-FPC Series FPC antennas are available now via Linx Technologies' distributor and manufacturer representative networks.
