Frequency Electronics Awarded $25 Million Contract to Develop Precision Frequency Systems

Frequency Electronics, Inc, has been awarded a $25 million contract to supply precision frequency-generation systems for an upcoming national security satellite initiative. Under this agreement, FEI will design, produce, test, and deliver an advanced frequency generation system to the primary contractor for satellite integration. This hardware will serve as the primary frequency reference for the spacecraft, enhancing overall mission effectiveness. A key focus of this program is FEI's commitment to delivering all contracted hardware within a timeframe of less than 24 months, supporting the U.S. government's objective of achieving a more resilient space presence. This high-performance, space-qualified system represents an evolution of FEI's technology, which has demonstrated success in various U.S. government and commercial satellite programs over the past 62 years.

Tom McClelland, FEI CEO, commented, “We are very excited and well prepared to get started on this important space program, and are committed to delivering hardware that meets or exceeds requirements, on or ahead of schedule. We believe this significant award is a good example of the type of next-generation systems we have been working on and is illustrative of why we are so optimistic about our future growth trajectory.”
