The AAT-30 from Sunsight Instruments is an Antenna Alignment Tool that measures antenna alignment in azimuth, tilt, and roll (plumb) while also indicating its height above ground level (AGL) with the Laser Rangefinder option. It has an azimuth accuracy of ± 0.3 degrees and a tilt and roll range of ± 22.5 degrees with an accuracy of ± 0.1 degrees. This tool provides a horizontal accuracy of ± 1 foot and a vertical (Mean above Sea Level) accuracy of ± 2 feet.
The AAT-30 can be operated using any smartphone or tablet and includes a free photo reporting feature for 4G Android smartphone and tablet users. Extensive reporting capabilities are standard including antenna boresight photos and Google Earth files. It produces PDF, CSV, and Google Earth reports for closeout packages and is accepted by all carriers in all markets in the U.S. This antenna alignment tool is available in an IP-65 weather resistant (works in rain/snow and desert heat), powder coated aluminum housing that measures 17.0 x 3.0 x 2.6 inches with a billet aluminum mounting system. It has no internal moving parts, no built-in display or camera lens that can break making it ideal for rugged use.
