The RM500U Series from Quectel are 5G Sub-6 GHz Modules that are optimized for IoT/eMBB/URLLC applications. They deliver a data rate of 2.6 Gbps (DL) and 1 Gbps (UL). These modules are available in three variants: RM500U-CN, RM500U-EA and RM500U-CNV to provide worldwide 5G (standalone and non-standalone architecture) and LTE-A coverage.
They are compliant with 3GPP Release 15/Release 16 technology and backward compatible with 4G/3G networks. The RM500U Series modules have a rich set of built-in network protocols, integrate industry-standard interfaces and support multiple drivers and software functions (such as USB/PCIe drivers). They are available in M2 packages that measure 52 x 30 x 2.3 mm (-CN and -CNV) or 52 x 30 x 3.75 mm (-EA) and are ideal for industrial and commercial applications in IoT/eMBB/URLLC, such as industrial router, home gateway, STB, industrial PDA, rugged tablet PC, video transmission and digital signage.
