The SIM8260E from SIMCom is a Multi-Band 5G NR/LTE-FDD/LTE-TDD/HSPA+ Module that supports 3GPP R16 5G NSA/SA. It delivers an uplink data transfer rate of 1 Gbps (Sub-6 GHz 5G-SA), 600 Mbps (Sub-6 GHz 5G-NSA) and downlink data transfer rate of 2.4 Gbps (Sub-6 GHz 5G-SA), 3.4 Gbps (Sub-6 GHz 5G-NSA). This module has a GNSS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS constellations. It requires a DC supply from 3.3 to 4.4 V and can be controlled via PCIe, PCM, I2C, USB 3.1, GPIO and SIM 1.8/2.95 V interfaces. This module is available in an LGA package that measures 41.0 x 43.6 x 2.8 mm and is ideal for high throughput data communication in a variety of radio propagation applications.
