The ADD557SR from Rohde & Schwarz is a Direction Finding (DF) and Monitoring Antenna that operates from 20 MHz to 8.5 GHz. It has a DF accuracy of 1° RMS and a DF sensitivity of 10 μV/m. This vertically/horizontally polarized antenna contains an additional switchable omnidirectional antenna output in both polarizations. It has integrated all antenna elements required for VHF/UHF/SHF direction finding and monitoring and also has an electronic compass that can be equipped with a GNSS receiver.
This direction-finding antenna is available in an enclosure that measures 1.1 x 0.48 m with a lightning rod for protection. It can be mounted on masts & vehicle roofs and is ideal for spectrum monitoring, radiolocation, Communications intelligence (COMINT), communications electronic support measures (CESM), and mobile applications.
