The UMSZ6 Series from Alps Alpine is a GNSS Module that provides high-accuracy positioning to within 50 cm without correction data. It supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, NAVIC, QZSS & SBAS constellations. The module has a multi-frequency GNSS receiver chip based on Furuno’s Extended Carrier Aiding technology and has a built-in sensor that facilitates dead reckoning and offers antenna diagnostic functions. It can reliably provide positioning data down to the lane level on general roads, which is required in various V2X applications and autonomous driving. The module requires a supply of 1.8 V and operates over a wide temperature range from -40 to 85/105 °C.
The UMSZ6 Series is available in a surface-mount package that measures 17.80 × 18.00 × 3.11 mm and is ideal for automotive applications in Telematics Control Units (TCU) and V2X on-board units (OBU).
