The AMP2090A-1LC from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 4 GHz. It delivers a saturated CW output power of more than 350 W with a power gain of 56 dB. This SSPA is based on a Class A/AB linear design and is equipped with high-power advanced technology to offer high efficiency, reliability, and ruggedness. It has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. This amplifier includes built-in protection circuits and monitors an extensive set of parameters such as voltage, current, noise levels, VSWR, output power input power, gain, power consumption, and temperature.
The AMP2090A-1LC has an LCD interface for local monitoring and uses Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, USB, and GPIB interface to remotely monitor the parameters. It requires an AC supply of 180-260 V and consumes less than 3500 W of power. This SSPA is available in a 6U-rack-mount enclosure that measures 481 x 267 x 650 mm with N-type (female) and 7-16 (female) connectors and is ideal for EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse, and communication applications.
