The LNF-LNC4_8F from Low Noise Factory is a Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 4 to 8 GHz. It provides 44 dB of gain with a noise figure of 0.022 dB and a noise temperature of 1.5 K. This LNA uses LNF’s proprietary InP HEMT technology and must be operated in a vacuum environment when below the dewpoint. It requires a DC supply of 0.7 V and consumes 15 mA of current.
