The MS020440 from Microwave Systems JSC is a High Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 4 GHz. It provides a saturated output power of 48 watts with a small signal gain of over 48 dB which can be controlled digitally. The amplifier uses advanced GaN microwave device technology and provides long term reliability in rugged environments. This wideband amplifier has a built-in output power detector. It is available in a hermetically sealed package that measures 187.7 x 75.4 x 23 mm with SMA female connectors. The amplifier can be used in communications systems, test instrumentation, broadband RF telemetry, point to point radios, and fiber optics.
