The CHA6095-QKB from United Monolithic Semiconductors (UMS) is a GaN Monolithic Power Amplifier that operates from 35 to 42.5 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 4 W (~36 dBm) with a linear gain of 25 dB and a power-added efficiency of 12%. This amplifier requires a DC supply of 25 V and consumes 300 mA of current. It is available in a standard surface-mount 24-lead QFN package that measures 4 x 4 mm and is ideal for active phased array antennas, telecom systems and 5G applications. The amplifier has 50-ohm matched input and output and has integrated ESD RF protection.
