The MTX2-183+ from Mini Circuits is an RF Balun MMIC that operates from 2 to 18 GHz. It has an impedance ratio of 1:2 and a common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of up to 39 dB. This 50-ohm balun has an insertion loss of less than 3.7 dB, an amplitude balance of ±0.4 dB and a phase unbalance of ±2°. It is fabricated using GaAs process technology and performs single-ended to differential conversion. This balun is available in a surface-mount 12-lead QFN package that measures 3.0 x 4.0 x 0.9 mm and is ideal for 5G MIMO, backhaul radio systems, test & measurement equipment, radar, EW & ECM defense systems, and signal distribution networks applications.
