The QPP2209 from Qorvo is a VPIN Limiter that operates from 8 to 12 GHz. It can handle a pulsed input power of up to 40 W and has an insertion loss of less than 1 dB. This limiter has a flat leakage of less than 19.5 dBm, spike leakage of 20.5 dBm and a pulse recovery time of less than 30 ns. It is available in a plastic over-molded QFN package that measures 4.00 x 4.00 x 0.65 mm and does not require a DC bias. This limiter can be used for receive chain protection and in commercial and military radar systems.
