The TDLM202402 from Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics is a Quasi-Active Silicon PIN Diode Limiter Module that operates in the S-band (2 to 4 GHz). It provides passive receiver protection (always on), which protects against high CW average power up to 50 dBm, high pulsed peak power up to 60 dBm (25 µsec pulse width @ 5% duty cycle), maintains low flat leakage to less than 14 dBm, and reduces spike leakage to less than 0.5 ergs. This limiter module has an insertion loss of 0.5 dB and a return loss of 17 dB.

The TDLM202402 SMT limiter carries a Class 0 ESD rating (HBM) and an MSL 1 moisture rating. This limiter offers excellent thermal characteristics in a compact, low profile 8 x 5 x 2.5 package. It is based on hybrid assembly technology utilized extensively in high-reliability, mission-critical applications. This limiter is also ideal for Electronic Warfare and Radar Applications.
