The QOT Series from QuinStar Technology are Waveguide Orthomode Transducers that operate in nine frequency bands from 12.4 to 110 GHz. The transducers are capable of separating a signal applied at their circular waveguide input port into two linear orthogonal components at their rectangular waveguide output ports. In reverse, by combining two orthogonal linearly polarized signals, they can provide a linear/circular/elliptical polarized output at their circular waveguide port depending on the relative phase and amplitude of the orthogonal input signals.

The QOT Series have an insertion loss of less than 0.8 dB and provide an isolation of more than 28 dB. They are available in modules with waveguide interfaces and are suitable for use in instrumentation, multi-polarization radars, sensors, radiometers, and communication systems applications.
