The PIA-12D8G-CD-1 from Planar Monolithics Industries is a Phase Locked, Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (PLDRO) that operates at 12.8 GHz. It has frequency stability of ±3 ppm with an internal reference of 100 MHz and has a phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz @10 kHz offset. The oscillator delivers an output power of more than 13 dBm with spurious levels of better than -80 dBc and harmonics of less than -25 dBc. It requires a DC supply of 15 V and consumes less than 300 mA of current. The PLDRO is available in a module that measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.62 inches and has SMA-female connectors.
