The LB5975W from LadyBug Technologies is a True RMS Power Sensor that operates from 50 to 75 GHz. It has a dynamic range from -50 dBm to +18 dBm and provides accurate power measurements of up to +18 dBm or 63 mW (continuous/pulsed) on any modulated signal with any modulation type. This power sensor can measure up to 384 samples per measurement and has a measurement time of less than 38.4 ms per average. It has a total RSS error of 5.36% and a VSWR of less than 1.7:1. This power sensor uses patented NoZero NoCal before-use technology and has included internal and external triggering. It has extensive internal memory for trace and long-term logging and is compatible with U2000 sensors. This power sensor can be controlled via SPI and I2C interfaces and includes a USB interface.
The LB5975W uses a highly accurate, thermally stabilized, two-path, RMS responding, square law diode detection scheme and makes accurate measurements on any signal regardless of its modulation bandwidth. It uses patented thermally stable technology that prevents measurements from drifting and user-zeroing and calibration before use. Measurement interruption due to automatic calibration is also eliminated bolstering the performance and reliability of ATE systems. This power sensor uses PMA-12 precision power meter software that allows users to make a wide variety of measurements from basic average power measurements to complex triggered measurements. It is available in a module with a WR-15 waveguide interface and is ideal for research & development, manufacturing, and service applications including radar, satellite, telecommunications, 802.11 testing, etc. applications.
