The N9042B UXA X-Series from Keysight Technologies are Signal Analyzers that operate from 2 Hz to 26.5/44/50 GHz and cover current 5G-NR, FR1, FR2 as well as most RADAR, EW and satellite bands. They provide an ultra wide analysis bandwidth of up to 11 GHz which is configured using an external digitizer. They also have a deep dynamic range to help solve the most difficult mmWave challenges. The analyzers have an excellent swept Displayed Average Noise Level (DANL) of -174 dBm.
The N9042B Series signal analyzers have a modular, upgradeable Intel i7 6-core CPU that has a clock speed of 1.9 GHz with an 8 GB DDR4 DRAM. They have a 256 GB SSD internal storage that is removable and supports USB 3.0/2/0 memory devices for external data storage. These signal analyzers have a 1280 x 800 resolution, 357 mm (diagonal) capacitive multi-touch screen display and support several I/O ports like RF input, EXW, EXM, internal Cal Out, wide IF out, RJ45 Ethernet LAN, Aux IF, VGA, Trigger 1,2 & 3, YAV Y-axis video output, GPIB, PCIe x4, digital bus interface and 10 MHz out. They can be combined with a V3050A Frequency extender to extend the maximum frequency range to 110 GHz. This frequency extender has integrated low-noise design for exceptional sensitivity, a preselector filter-bank to eliminate image responses, fundamental mixing for high dynamic range and a “remote head” form-factor that interfaces seamlessly to the N9042B.
