The R&S SMB100B is a compact analog signal generator available in various frequency options from 8 kHz to 1 GHz, 3 GHz and 6 GHz. The generator can deliver up to 34 dBm of output power (at 1 GHz carrier frequency) without an external amplifier. It provides an outstanding single sideband (SSB) phase noise of < -134 dBc (meas.) at 1 GHz and an offset of 20 kHz. The signal generator is available in a benchtop unit with 2 HU form factor, ¾ 19" width and is ideal for radar and receiver tests in the aerospace and defense sector, as well as for CW-based production tests on wireless devices and infrastructure.
