The F0452B from Renesas is a Dual Path RF Front End Module that consists of an RF switch and two gain stages with 6 dB gain control used in the analog front-end receiver of an Active Antenna System (AAS). It operates from 2.3 to 2.7 GHz and provides a P1dB of 15 dBm with a gain of 34 dB and noise figure of 1.5 dB at 2.6 GHz.
The FEM requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes less than 130 mA of current. It has an independent standby mode for power savings and offers low noise and high linearity. The FEM is available in a 32-LGA package that measures 5 x 5 mm and is ideal for multi-mode, multi-carrier receivers, LTE Advanced, and 5G band 42 applications.
