The Gflex® from PCTEL is a Scanning Receiver for multi-operator 2G/3G/4G/5G testing. It supports frequencies from 10 MHz to 8 GHz (Sub-8 GHz) and 24.26 – 44 GHz/47.2 – 48.2 GHz (mmWave) and can measure up to 120 5G channels. This receiver supports every 5G band defined in the 3GPP release 17 specification and can measure the entire 100 MHz 5G bandwidth. It is designed for walk and drive testing scenarios and includes a hot-swappable battery pack for easy all-day walk testing. With its unique set of capabilities, the Gflex scanner supports a wide array of government applications such as signal intelligence, coverage mapping, and interference detection. It is easy to integrate into the existing test setup with support from multiple software platforms.
A single lightweight Gflex scanner can collect all the mmWave and sub-8 GHz data needed to benchmark multiple operator networks in one pass, with one unit. It requires a DC supply from 9 to 17 V and consumes less than 40 W of power. The Gflex® is available in an enclosure that measures 163 x 207 x 60 mm and is suitable for applications such as 5G network optimization, multi-operator network benchmarking, spectrum clearing, network troubleshooting, in-building wireless, signal intelligence, interference detection, and coverage assurance.
