GT sockets Image

The GT Elastomer Sockets from Ironwood Electronics are BGA Sockets for high bandwidth applications up to 94 GHz. They support pitches from 0.2 mm to 1.27 mm with force per contact of 25-60 grams and can withstand over 1000 insertion/extraction cycles. These RF sockets are available in Polyimide (Cirlex) housing with proprietary silver alloy contact and are ideal for IC prototype, system testing, and field upgradeable system design applications.

These 45-ohm sockets have a time delay of 1.8 ps. They have a self-inductance of 0.1 nH, a mutual inductance of 0.024 nH, a capacitance to ground of 0.092 pF, and a mutual capacitance of 0.008 pF.
