QPA Series Image

The QPA Series from QuinStar Technology are precision motorized programmable attenuators that operate from 18 to 170 GHz. They have an attenuation range from 0 to 80 dB with a step size of 0.02 dB.

These attenuators can handle an input power of up to 1 W, and have an insertion loss of less than 3 dB. They are designed to meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace defense and space industries. These attenuators have an LCD screen and numerical keypad on the front panel for fine-tuned attenuation control and include Ethernet (LAN), RS485 and USB-C interfaces for remote operation.

The QPA Series attenuators are available in enclosures that measure 4.25 x 6.80 x 3.60 inches with various waveguide interface options. They require a DC supply of 24 V and have an option for an AC adapter. These attenuators are ideal for use in a wide array of professional industries, including automatic receiver testing, radar systems, SATCOM, microwave links, testing and calibration, space exploration, electronic warfare, research and development, high-frequency medical imaging, and radio astronomy.
