RF Sensing in Assisted Living

RF Sensing can help elder care in Assisted Living. A project by APITech and the University of Glasgow. Today we can perform vital signs monitoring using 5G Wi-Fi signals. A Wi-Fi vital sign monitoring system sends signals from a transmitter and a receiver senses signal disturbances from the person's breathing and heart rates. Radar and 5G Wi-Fi activity monitors can recognize activities like sitting and standing with +90% accuracy. Radio frequency in-home monitoring can help to accurately assess elder frailty.
