The NT-18G-50G-1C-C from Maury Microwave is an Automated Impedance Tuner that operates from 18 to 50 GHz. It has an impedance matching range of 40:1 (at 28, 39 GHz) and an insertion loss of 0.5 dB. This impedance tuner can handle a CW power of 10 W, a peak power of 100 W, and has a vector repeatability of -40 dB. It has an integrated coupler with a coupling factor of 40 dB. 

The NT-18G-50G-1C-C supports a direct probe connection where it is mounted directly to the probe tip for on-wafer measurements. This direct probe connection allows operation with no vibration and ensures the highest tuning range (VSWR, lowest impedance) at the DUT reference plane. It also reduces the phase skew which results in low signal distortion and more accurate vector measurements when using wideband modulated signals. 

The NT-18G-50G-1C-C can be controlled via Ethernet and USB interfaces. It is available in a module that measures 4.5 x 3.35 x 1.57 inches and has 1.85 mm connectors. This impedance tuner is ideal for load pull measurement applications at 5G FR2 frequencies.
