The AMEC60-NM from AMKOM is a C-Band BUC that converts input frequencies from 950 – 1825 MHz to output frequencies from 5.850 – 6.725 GHz (INSAT). It delivers a saturated output power of more than 60 W (47.8 dBm) with a gain of 72 dB and a gain attenuation adjustment of 20 dB in 0.1dB steps. This BUC has a phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz (at 100 kHz offset) and a maximum in-band/out-band spurious of -60 dBc. It utilizes efficient and reliable GaAs + GaN High Power Amplifiers (HPA) with built-in overdrive circuit protection and optimized linearization. The BUC has a state-of-the-art ultra-reject filter and a built-in RF monitoring port. It exceeds IESS-308/309 phase noise standards and provides extreme GaN linearity and efficiency.
The AMEC60-NM can be controlled via RS232/485, Ethernet, Telnet, SNMP, and FSK interfaces. It is available in an enclosure that measures 188 x 130 x 122 mm with SMA connectors and a field-replaceable IP69K rated fan. This BUC requires an AC supply from 85 to 260 V and consumes 250 W of power.
