The RG520F Series from Quectel are Sub-6 GHz 5G Modules that are designed for IoT and eMBB applications. They are based on the 3GPP Release-16 and support both 5G NSA and SA modes with Option 3x/3a and Option 2 network architectures, making them backward compatible with 4G/ 3G network. These modules support a downlink data rate of up to 4 Gbps (5G SA/NSA) and an uplink data rate of up to 900 Mbps (5G SA). They are available in two variants – RG520F-EU and RG520F-NA – are industrial-grade modules for industrial and commercial applications. These modules require a DC supply of 3.8 V.
The RG520F Series modules support Qualcomm® IZat™ location technology Gen 9VT (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS) which simplifies product design and provides quicker, more accurate, and more dependable positioning capability. They include USB 2.0/3.0/3.1, PCIe 3.0, PCM, UART, and more interfaces. These modules are available in LGA form factor packages that measure 41.00 x 44.00 x 2.75 mm and are suitable for use in business routers, home gateways, STBs, industrial laptops, consumer laptops, industrial PDAs, rugged tablet PCs, and video surveillance applications.
