The VRFC0008-BD from Viper RF is a 6-bit GaAs phase shifter die that operates from 2 to 4 GHz and provides 360 degrees of phase coverage with a 5.625 degree phase step. The phase shifter has an insertion loss of under 7.5 dB and an RMS phase error of 3.3 degrees (at 3 GHz). The RF ports are DC blocked and matched to 50 Ohms. The die measuring 3 x 3 x 0.1 mm is ideal for Defence and Instrumentation applications.
