The LigoDLB 5-90n from LigoWave is a Base Station Radio that operates from 5.15 to 5.85 GHz. It combines an advanced radio core containing MIMO 2×2 technology with an integrated, high-gain, dual polarization directional antenna. This radio features a smart dynamic polling-based protocol (iPoll 3) which ensures reliable communication even in congested areas with 64 client devices connected to a base station. It supports IEEE 802.11a/n WLAN standards and delivers a data rate of up to 300 Mbps (802.11 n). The radio supports 5,10, 20, and 40 MHz channel sizes, OFDM (64-QAM, 16-QAM, QPSK, BPSK) modulation schemes, and implements TDD duplexing scheme.
The LigoDLB 5-90n comes with the feature-rich DLB operating system which ensures flawless operation of all DLB hardware devices and simple setup for those deploying the networks. It is equipped with LigoWave’s dual firmware image feature that ensures remote software upgrades even if a power failure interrupts the process. This radio includes an RJ45 Ethernet interface, supports PoE, and consumes less than 4.5 W of power. It is available in an IP-66-rated housing that measures 380 x 100 x 35 mm with no metal parts, which makes it lighter and corrosion-resistant.
