DM-X400-02 Image

The DM-X400-02 from Diamond Microwave is an X-band GaN pulsed solid-state power amplifier that operates from 8200 MHz to 9500 MHz. It delivers an output power of 400 Watt. The PA has a pulse width up to 100 µs and a duty cycle up to 15% with a rise/fall time below 50 ns. It is available in a module that measures 150 x 220 x 41 mm with N-type female connector and is ideal for use in demanding defence, aerospace and communications applications. The design is flexible in layout and architecture and can be tailored to meet individual specifications.

This SSPA is a “smart” product, with control and monitoring functions accessed via an ethernet port. All monitored parameters are addressable via the ethernet interface with self-protection activated if the SSPA detects that a default or user-set threshold is crossed for RF power, temperature, duty cycle or current. The SSPA will provide a visible alarm and alert the host system when a threshold is exceeded.
