The TSX Series from Smiths Interconnect are Fixed Chip Attenuators that operate from DC to 50 GHz. These attenuators are available in attenuation values of 0-10 (with a 1 dB step size), 15, & 20 dB. They can handle a CW input power of up to 10 W and have a VSWR of less than 1.25:1. The attenuators have been developed using 3D Electromagnetic Simulation (EM) software to provide excellent performance in a total thin film process. They allow wider coverage than traditional components while providing optimized return loss for multiple frequency ranges. These attenuators are available in surface-mount packages and are ideal for satellite communications, radar, 5G, amplifier circuits, transmit/receive modules, up/down converters, and instrumentation applications.
