MX40000PRO Image

The MX40000PRO from DS Instruments is a Double-Balanced Mixer with an RF frequency from 18 to 41 GHz and an IF frequency from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. It has an integrated programmable LO generator from 25 to 40 GHz. This double-balanced mixer has a conversion loss of 12 dB, provides a LO-RF isolation of 35 dB, and a LO-IF isolation of 30 dB. It can work as an upconverter or a downconverter by eliminating the need for extra cabling and a separate bulky, expensive, high-frequency signal source. The mixer includes an ultra-low noise internal oven-controlled reference source to ensure low phase noise.

The MX40000PRO allows the LO frequency can be set using front controls or the provided Windows PC application via USB or Ethernet port. This USB-powered mixer features a bright and efficient OLED display with a simple and effective control interface. It is available in a module that measures 4.15 x 5.0 x 1.15 inches with 2.92 mm (gold) connectors and is ideal for satellite uplinks/downlinks, defense/electronic warfare, mmWave technology, 5G testing, electronic countermeasures, receiver development, VSAT, radar, space, and general microwave lab applications.
