The TB0218HDW2 from Narda-MITEQ is a Triple-Balanced Mixer with an RF/LO Frequency from 2 to 18 GHz and an IF Frequency from 0.5 to 10 GHz. It utilizes a dual-quad circuit to provide performance in overlapping RF and IF frequency ranges. This mixer provides LO to RF isolation of 25 dB, LO to IF isolation of 10 dB, and RF to IF isolation of 20 dB. It utilizes custom-processed diodes for minimal variation in conversion loss, higher third-order intercept, and 1dB compression points versus input LO power range compared to other triple-balanced mixers. The mixer is available in a module that measures 0.8 x 0.59 x 0.28 inches with removable SMA (female) connectors and is also available with hermetic packaging.
