The XO5123 Series from MtronPTI is a range of low phase noise, high stability OCXOs for bench instruments, satellite communication terminals and radar applications. Network analyzer measurements are only as good as the noise they themselves generate. Satellite communication terminals and radar need low noise to hold the channel and provide a clear image. The 10 MHz XO5123 lowers phase noise to -146 dB/Hz at 10 Hz offset and -172 dB/Hz at high frequencies. They require a supply of 5 V and are available in a thru-hole europack package measuring 36 x 27 mm.
