The LPFRS/AV1 from Safran is a high-performance 10 MHz Rubidium Oscillator designed for rugged airborne applications. It has an excellent frequency retrace of ±0.05 ppb and very low temperature sensitivity. The oscillator provides a sine wave output with a phase noise of -140 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset. It has spurious levels of under -80 dBc and harmonics of better than -25 dBc. This oscillator complies to stringent vibration and shock standards.

This RoHS-compliant oscillator is available in a compact module that measures 76.0 x 77.0 x 36.5 mm and has an RS 232 interface for centre frequency adjustment and monitoring of other working parameters. It is ideal for synchronisation in telecommunications (SDH, SONET, SS7, GSM, TETRA), digital audio broadcast, TV transmissions (analog & digital), military communications, navigation, instrumentation and tracking and guidance control applications.
