The APLCXX(-X) from AnaPico are Signal Generators for frequencies from 100 kHz to 40 GHz. They are available with up to 4 phase-coherent outputs and have a switching speed of less than 500 μs. These low-noise generators have a frequency resolution of 0.001 Hz, a phase resolution of 0.1°, and an SSB phase noise of -133 dBc/Hz (@20 kHz offset, 10 GHz frequency). They have spurious emissions of better than -80 dBc and harmonics of -55 dBc. The noise generators have USB, LAN, and a fast control port interface (FCP) and can be controlled using the SCPI 1999 command set. They are available in compact enclosures (single channel) or 1U 19’’ rack-mountable enclosures (multi-channel) with a display and front panel control.
