Telecommunications Testing Using AR Amplifiers
This whitepaper will explore some of the testing requirements for telecommunication devices and how to benefit from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation's products. It will consider two broad categories of device testing: Characterization and Reliability.
Characterization testing focuses on the device performance as related to its operation in a defined and specified condition. Reliability testing aims to determine the life expectancy and limits of the device. This application note will focus on mid to high power systems (>1 watt peak). Low power systems (<28 dBm peak) such as Bluetooth, Zigbeem and LAN do not typically require test bench amplification.
