MACOM Names Wayne Struble as Senior VP of Advanced Semiconductor Technology

MACOM, a leading supplier of semiconductor products, has announced the appointment of Wayne Struble as Senior Vice President, Advanced Semiconductor Technology, effective immediately.

Mr. Struble has served as a MACOM Distinguished Fellow of Technology since joining MACOM in 2010. Mr. Struble is an expert in Radio Frequency (“RF”), microwave, and millimeter wave integrated circuit (“IC”) design, semiconductor device modeling and testing, compound semiconductor process development, and wireless communication system design. During his distinguished 40-year career, Mr. Struble has made significant technical contributions to the semiconductor industry in the areas of Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) circuit design and process development, published more than 25 technical papers, and held more than 50 patents in the field of RF and microwave semiconductors. Mr. Struble earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
