The RI 189 from Ranatec is an RF Shielded Box that operates from 1 to 10 GHz. It provides 70 dB of shielding and can handle up to 2 kW of internal heat generation with a corresponding temperature rise of 20 degrees. The RF shield box has a ventilated design with a cooling fan and can be operated over a DC supply of 24 V or an AC supply of 230 V. The box measures 1.2 x 0.7 x 0.6 m and has 10 Gbit LAN, USB 3.0, HDMI, and SMA interfaces. This large, lightweight aluminum box has been designed for testing Mobile Base stations, point-to-point microwave links (P2P, PTP), or any other large test setup, wireless semiconductor test as well as WLAN/Bluetooth/Zigbee/WiMax device test applications.
