The ADRF5142 from Analog Devices is a Silicon SPDT Switch that operates from 8 to 11 GHz. It has a switching speed of 60 ns and provides an isolation of 40 dB. This reflective switch can handle an input power of 10 W (~41 dBm) and has an insertion loss of 1.2 dB. It has a rise/fall time of 40 ns and a settling time of 65 ns. This SPDT switch employs CMOS/LVTTL-logic compatible controls and requires no additional driver circuitry, which makes it an ideal alternative to GaN and PIN diode-based switches. It requires DC supplies of +3.3 and -3.3 V and consumes 130 µA (positive supply) and 500 µA (negative supply) of current. This RoHS-compliant switch is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.0 x 3.0 mm and is ideal for GaN and PIN diode replacement, electronic warfare, satellite communications, and X-band communications and radar applications.
