The 5407 from ETS-Lindgren is a GTEM Test Cell for frequency ranges from DC to 20 GHz (radiation immunity (RI)) and 9 kHz to 5 GHz (radiation emission (RE)). It enables users to perform RE and RI tests in a short time compared to an OATS or a standard chamber. This test cell allows users to perform tests quickly and accurately throughout the entire product life cycle; from design qualification testing, and moving through to pre-compliance testing and production sampling. It allows typical radiation emission tests to be completed in 15 minutes, while radiation immunity tests can be completed in half the normal time.
The 5407 can handle a CW input power of 200/500 W (with optional blower), provides a shielding effectiveness of more than 80 dB, and a field uniformity of 0-6 dB. It has been characterized by documented results from TDR and VSWR tests. This GTEM cell provides an option to use manual emissions correlation software for an in-depth analysis, two AC receptacles, and an absorber material. It measures 4.0 x 2.2 x 2.1 m (outer cell) and has 7/16-DIN and N-type connectors.
