Fast Remote Control for R&S®SMIQ Vector Signal Generators
Short setting times are among the most important criteria when it comes to choosing the right signal generator, especially in production. With its extremely short setting times for frequency (<3 ms) and level (<2.5 ms), the R&S SMIQ Vector Signal Generator family easily meets the requirement. In addition, SMIQ provides two special modes where setting times can be further reduced, Fast Restore mode and List mode. This Application Note decribes both modes and gives some application examples.
