MVG (Satimo) Industries has received the ISO 17025 accreditation for 3GPP testing by the French Committee COFRAC for our test lab in Paris. They are the first and only company in France to have an accredited 3GPP Laboratory. This accreditation is in fact an extension to the scope of their ISO 17025 quality certification which was awarded in 2012.
The 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) is a standards body that works within the scope of the International Telecommunication Union to develop wireless technologies ( 3G and beyond) which build upon the base provided by GSM. The group is responsible for the UMTS standard, as well as HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, and LTE.
Detailed audits were made for the radiated performance measurements of the 3G/2G user equipment/mobile stations (UE/MS) in OTA mode for both the uplink and the downlink, resulting in this very positive outcome.
