GigOptix, Inc. a leading fabless supplier of semiconductor and optical components that enable high speed information streaming, today announced that it has signed Altima Corporation, a subsidiary of Macnica Group, to be their Japanese distributor of optical and RF/MMIC products.
Under the terms of the agreement Altima will distribute GigOptix’s optical and RF/MMIC products throughout Japan. These products are particularly well suited for the Telecom, Datacom and consumer markets and align very well with Altima’s current line card offerings.
