TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. a leading RF solutions supplier and technology innovator, has introduced complete, cost-effective Ka-band gallium arsenide (GaAs) RF chipsets to support key requirements in very small aperture terminal (VSAT) satellite communications systems. The family includes a variable-gain driver amplifier, a 1 Watt GaAs monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifier, a subharmonic upconverter and a highly-integrated block downconverter.
Technical Details:
TGA4541-SM- Highly-linear 28 to 31 GHz variable gain GaAs MMIC driver amplifier; +23dBm P1dB RF output power; 33dB gain; 31dBm OIP3; and 30dB gain attenuation range; power supply is 5V at 330mA. It is available in a 40-lead 6x6mm QFN.
TGA4539-SM- 28 to 30 GHz GaAs MMIC amplifier; 30dBm (1W) P1dB RF output power; 20dB gain; +33dBm OIP3; power supply is 6V at 420ma. It is available in a 20-lead 5x5mm QFN.
