The 3Z RF Vision from VIAVI Solutions is an Antenna Alignment Tool Kit designed to help users easily and accurately align panel, microwave point-to-point, and cylindrical/stealth antennas. It allows users to match antenna alignment as per their RF design for enhanced voice quality and data traffic, and reduced OPEX. This tool kit consists of a universal strap clamp, a built-in camera, and AC/DC power chargers and adapters. It incorporates dual-frequency GNSS technology, allowing the tool to measure satellites twice and thereby cover a total of 174 satellite signals. This enables accurate and faster readings, even in high-density areas such as urban cities and crowded towers.
The 3Z RF Vision’s integrated camera further provides a visual guide to indicate where the antenna is pointing at all times, allowing the tool to capture dynamic changes in the environment and greatly simplifying the alignment process. This tool also includes an augmented reality capability that displays a bullseye target on a 5-inch LCD touchscreen. The display has strengthened glass, which provides greater resistance to scratching, cracking, and breakage. This alignment tool creates a comprehensive PDF/CSV report that can be accessed later via a USB interface or sent to a phone in real time via VIAVI’s mobile app. The tool is available in a rugged polycarbonate plastic enclosure and has protective rubber bumpers for heat resistance.
